Does Dhancept place real trades with my broker account?
Only if you turn it on. Paper trading is the default, and paper orders are simulated. If you connect Zerodha Kite and enable Live trading in Settings, orders you confirm are placed with your broker as real orders and can lose real money. You can switch Live trading off, or use the kill switch, at any time.
